A few members of the faculty are nice and you will run into them, but most are cold and anti-social. You’ll tend to get a lot of attention at first from everyone and then ignored from then on. As it was suggested, don’t tell them anything they can gossip about you, because they will, you are the rumor of the day, any day.
At this school the home economics teacher and the computer teacher are the only two teachers that have shown me kindness. The secretary/accountants or whatever they are, are really nice and will try to get you whatever you need such as office supplies and your pay balance sheet if you request it.
The copier/handy man and sidekick are slightly annoying. Do not try to drink with the old copy man, he has a robotic liver. The old guy will complain about various things such as black copy marks eating up his ink toners, but he doesn’t speak English so it’ll be fun. I pretend not to understand him as well. The sidekick is about 35 years old, I’d guess, and decently nice.
